Band Photos have arrived! Posted 10-19-14
They can be picked up at the Monday night band meeting.
Contact Annette Mast at email@example.com with questions.
Your pictures of the Band are needed!
Here are 3 options for getting pictures to Patty Prendergast for the video:
1. E-mail her at firstname.lastname@example.org Most e-mail servers have file size limits, which often requires folks to email a few pictures at a time. This method works, but can be time consuming.
2. Put pictures on a flash drive or disk and give it to David Prendergast in the clarinet section. He is more than willing to courier them back and forth.
3. Share the photos via Google Drive. Anyone with a Google Drive account can upload their photos to a folder, and then share that folder with me, by clicking the share button and typing in my e-mail. I have two Google Drive accounts (email@example.com & firstname.lastname@example.org). Google will send me an e-mail letting me know that a folder has been shared with me. (When uploading photos, upload at full size).
Band members and their families are invited to the gathering before the community performance on Oct. 23. At 5:30 in the auditorium there will be a short video of our great marching band, followed by a soup supper afterwards in the NHS cafeteria. It’s like a huge potluck…its great! (Be looking for announcement of how you can contribute.) Then we all head over to the football field for the community performance at 7:30. Come and join in the fun!
Purpose for event: Thank you to the community for their support. The event includes a celebration and fellowship with the marching band and families recognizing the members’ hard work during the season and providing support for the upcoming competitions.
Who are the Band Boosters?
The Northridge Band Booster Association is made up of band parent volunteers who support the Northridge High School and Middle School Bands. The purpose of this group is to help the directors and the bands be successful in accomplishing their goals. Members assist with equipment, uniforms, transportation, set up, food and fundraisers. These items are accomplished by attending monthly meetings, contacting leaders/coordinators to volunteer on a committee, signing up to provide what's needed and staying connected on events through emails and the Band Booster webpage.
